Colorado halted a three-game slide with Thursdays home shootout win over Toronto, but last seasons Central Division champions have yet to claim consecutive victories in 2014-15. The Avalanche notched a 4-3 win against the Maple Leafs thanks to Alex Tanguay, who scored the deciding marker in the third round of the shootout.
